Top 10 Suicideboys Songs-Matte Black
Matte Black
Track 2 on Sing Me a Lullaby, My Sweet Temptation
Matte Black is used to promote the Gray Day collection on May 9, 2022.
This song is relatively long for typical $uicideboy$ song lengths.
Scrim's verse is more of a sweeping description of his addictive tendencies. And his manic-depressive self. He changes a lot of themes in this song, like a junkie's mind. First talk about fucking a girl, then talk about getting back on opiates, then back to girls. Sex and drugs are addictions or common addictions for people and he was talking about his sadness and how he now has money to deal with it, after buying land and diamonds, but actually, he is not and will never be truly happy.
Ruby's verse is largely based on the fact that the older he gets, the less able he is to take care of himself. He said what a terrible person he was and that no one should follow him or be around him because he would bring people down with his addiction and behavior.
Lyrics
[Intro: Yung Christ]
(You did good $lick)
(It's a Smash!)
Wetto, Wetto, Wetto
Wetto, Wetto, Wetto
Wet, wet, wet, wet, wet, wet, wet
[Verse 1: Yung Christ]
I got the Glock in my yoga pants
Fucking that bitch in a yoga stance
Swangin' that K' with an open stance
Loaded from smoking that opium
Stain a lil' boy in the clothes he's in
All of my walls, they closing in
51/50, they tryna come get me
Just minding my business and moseying
Matte black, smokin' packs
Panic attacks, back to back
Xanax on my lap, debatin'
Should I relapse?
But back to the hoe I was talkin' 'bout
I just wanna put it up in her mouth
Pimping up in my blood, what's up cuz?
Thuggin' that dirty South
Four letters, two numbers, bitch, Grey*59
Three fingers in the air, main bitch by my side
$licky pull up in a quartеr mill' and slaughter up your daughter
Yung Jesus with thеm Forgi wheels don't walk, he drive on water
Anytime, any place
Any hood, any state
Good 'til it fuckin' ain't
Woods to the fuckin' face
Ridin' with my baby sage
Lines on expensive plates
Tears on my diamond chains
Stoic, never looking phased
Poet when I'm spitting game (Game)
Show me how that pussy shaved (Shaved)
Dosage climbin' with my shame (Shame)
Mama crying for my pain (Pain)
Will they ever understand? (No)
Can I even help my dad? (No)
Money fuckin' up my fam'
Giving until there's nothing left
Pulling up in that latest (Damn!)
Choppa stay on me, don't need no hands
Prefer to be lonely, don't need no friends
Hoe we just fuckin', I don't date fans
I'm with my cousin and talkin' plans
Went to my hood and I copped some land
Blowing through my money like Democrats
Two-step on the IRS, fuck a tax
[Verse 2: Romeo da Black Rose]
Why the fuck you look to me for help?
There ain't an ace in the cards I was dealt
I'm 31, still don't know how to take care of myself
Honestly, I'm scared that I might melt
Leave behind a bunch of black spots on a white pelt
Maybe in the next life I'll come back as a nice belt, Ion' know
There's a fine line between me and you
The biggest difference is I'll snort that shit and probably puke
Dodge and juke all the bullshit y'all try and pull me through
But I'm still shining, baby girl wylin'
Catch me riding by with that look in my eyes
Palms start to sweat, by the way I'm gripping my .9
Yeah, I'm always on my toes but I'm still the same height
Standing tall over my grave
Make sure it's filled with all the people we supposedly saved
Make sure you throw the plaques in and all the money we made
I can't put them on my wall, that shit just ain't my taste
It ain't my taste, it ain't my taste!
Lil Shawty wanna marry me, I said "You're better off in debt"
If it didn't work out baby, I'll be real hard to forget
German whips and private jets, private beaches to access
Fuck on me baby, I'm still a mess and no that ain't a threat
I ride for my family that's Grey*59
Try and be all I can be and not waste my time
On the brink of insanity, I can't make up my mind
Yeah, I battle my vanity and I think I'm blind
[Outro: Yung Christ & Romeo da Black Rose]
Four letters, two numbers, bitch, Grey*59
Three fingers in the air
Three fingers in the air
Four letters, two numbers, bitch, Grey*59
Three fingers in the air, m-
Three fingers in the air, main
I ride for my family that's Grey*59
I ride for my family that's Grey*59
Try and be all I can be and I waste my ti-ti-ti-time
Try and be all I can be and I waste my time
Top 10 Suicideboys Songs- Runnin' Thru the 7th with My Woadies
Runnin' Thru the 7th with My Woadies
Track 3 on $outh $ide $uicide
"Woadie" or "woe" is a slang term derived from "wardie," which itself refers to the citizens of New Orleans, as the city is divided into several areas called "wards." In Drake's song, he incorrectly used the word "New Orleans" and justified the word choice in an interview with Noisey,
Woe to my crew. It stands for "Pursuit of Excellence." … So, all my friends are a blight on me, and I feel like anyone who strives for excellence in life is a blight on life.
Lyrics
[Chorus: Marie Therese]
When you come home, I'll stop this
When you come home, I'll stop this
[Verse 1: Ruby da Cherry]
View from a balcony, pool lit up blue
Lawn chairs next to the ice chest
Stuffed two grams in the blunt that we just blew
Now I'm getting blown by a bitch
Who? I don't know her name
Gold chain hanging, got a few in the room
But I don't wear them out, only wear them in the house
'Cause I shine so bright, I don't wanna blind you
Who knew Yung $now wouldn't melt in the summer? It's true
Cold as a polar bear
Chilling with Stunna and $lick, I'm surrounded by tulips
Got me 'bout two clips
Got me 'bout two scripts filled up with Oxy
Smoke hovers all around my fucking body
I murdered this bitch named Oddy, yeah, I shot him
$lick got the shovels, and we digging all night
Pouya in the Caddy
Told him, "Shine the light bright," 'cause I'm digging in darkness
What was a good day has turned into the usual
Back in all black like a funeral
[Chorus: Marie Therese]
When you come home, I'll stop this
When you come home, I'll stop this
[Verse 2: Yung $carecrow]
Runnin' from the cops through the motherfucking 7th
Six bodies dropped, and nobody went to heaven
Block stay hot when I'm creeping with the weapon
Gotta keep the pills in me all because of my depression
City of the crescent, riding with a Smith and Wesson
Got a motherfucker guessing when I hit 'em with the blessing
Two shots to the dome, six shots in the chrome
All shot through your home, now that's a crime zone
$-U-I-C-I-D-E
$carecrow creepin' with Uzi
Lucifer, please come save me
Throw crucifixes at my feet
Walking through the depths of hell
Watchin' as the oceans swell
Grey*59, that's Los Cartel
Nothing but death in every cell
[Chorus: Marie Therese]
When you come home, I'll stop this
When you come home, I'll stop this
[Verse 3: Pouya]
Yuh, she too deep in the flask
Drinking and thinking gonna lead to a bad decision
Déjà vu, I've been through it with you
Multiple times on many occasions
Contemplating vacating without you, I doubt you the one
I could be wrong, I could be sprung, I could be dumb
I could be dumbfounded, well-rounded
Plus the head game therapeutic
She knew when she blew it like Nintendo, you heard me
Some of y'all better curve me, my dick game army strong
My only hope is my song go on for long
This life ain't promised whether you accomplished
What you think about inside of yo' apartment
You working for nothing, you worthless, bitch
Yuh
[Chorus: Marie Therese]
When you come home, I'll stop this
When you come home, I'll stop this
When you come home, I'll stop this
When you come home, I'll stop this

It was released on August 11th, 2023.
Lyrics
Intro: Brad Pitt & [Skinny Pimp]
I'll tell you a secret, something they don't teach you in your temple
The Gods envy us, they envy us because we're mortal
Cause any moment might be our last
Everything is more beautiful, because we're doomed
You did good $lick
(It's a Smash!)
Shoot on a trick, when I'm thick
Slick ain't got no sorrow bitch
Shoot on a trick, shoot on a trick
Slick ain't got no sorrow bitch
Shoot on a trick, when I'm thick
Slick ain't got no sorrow bitch
Shoot on a trick, shoot on a trick
Slick ain't got no sorrow bitch
[Verse 1: Yung Revelations]
Can I ever get a moment to myself?
Each moment that passes is fleeting
I try and I try to escape my own life
At this point y'all should call me Houdini (Oddy don't)
It always ends up with me bleeding
Or so overwhelmed I'm retreating
Back into the hole that I tried to climb out of
It always ends up self defeating
I'm addicted to sex, addicted to drugs
Really whatever will make me feel loved
I don't care what you thinkin'
Yeah, I don't give a fuck
I'm still out here shinin' as bright as the sun
And no matter how hard it gets
No matter how tough
Don't disobey when I say, "Give me the gun" (Give me the gun)
If I don't let my demons out to breathe
I'll end up with some horns or pair of fuckin' wings
Come and visit me from time to time (From time to time)
To all the bitches that I was ever with
Yeah, you're still on my mind (Mind-mind)
[Verse 2: Lil Psalm]
Huh, ayy
Yeah, pushing that coupe in the rain (North!)
Think I been going insane (Side!)
Poppin' and smokin' and drinkin' (North!)
Is how I been copin' and dealin' with pain (Side!)
Snort up a line with my Mom, yeah (North!)
I just be hoping to bond (Side!)
Another day working and wasting away (North!)
The exact thing that I wanna buy (Side!)
That's time
I'm in that Double R
Falling the fuck apart
Cooking up my frontal lobe
Play it strong on the phone
But I cry when alone
'Cause my daddy just hit a new low
Fuck
Everyday bad news, everyday cash rules
Fuck what I did (Lets go!)
It's what have you done lately
Fuck that poetic shit (Lets go!)
Got a chrome metal stick up to my brain, just to know heaven for a bit (Go, go, go)
I just want to run away (Away)
But all I ever do is run in place (In place)
The tears I cried it could've iced my chain (My chain)
And on the best days I can't feel my face (My face)
[Chorus: Yung Revelations & Lil Psalm]
No matter how hard it gets
No matter how tough
My face, my face
I can't feel my face
No matter how hard it gets
No matter how tough
My face, my face
I can't feel my face
My face, my face
I can't feel my face
No matter how hard it gets
No matter how tough
My face, my face
I can't feel my face
[Outro]
The worst part about hell is not the flames, it's the hopelessness
And I think that is the part of hell that a person in depression really tastes
The hopelessness, the terrible hopelessness that comes over
Top 10 Suicideboys Songs-Avalon
Avalon
Track 10 on Long Term Effects of SUFFERING
The song is titled Paradise Island from Celtic Mythology. This is the place where King Arthur's Excalibur was forged and where King Arthur was taken away after being seriously injured. However, $crim and Ruby's lyrics stand in stark contrast to the beautiful island - in the song, the pair vividly address violence and sexuality while showcasing their money and material possessions.
Lyrics

Hate me all you want, better watch your back, I never front

Snort a thirty off the .40, let it bust (Bow, bow)

Top 10 Suicideboys Songs-1000 Blunts
1000 Blunts
Track 4 on Sing Me a Lullaby, My Sweet Temptation
"1000 Blunts" is the follow-up to their 2014 song "100 Blunt$."
100 Blunt$ was one of the duo's first songs to use Auto-Tune and sound effects, which may be the same case with this song. The use of autotune and the song title give the song the vibe of a person going on a marijuana trip.
Lyrics
[Intro: Kllo]
Hold tight, (You did good, $lick) hold tight
(It's a Smash!) I'm noticing the mine, I'm noticing the mine
Hold tight, hold tight, I'm noticing the mine, I'm noticing the mine
Hold tight, hold tight, I'm noticing the mine, I'm noticing the mine
Hold tight, hold tight, I'm noticing the mine, I'm noticing the mine
[Verse 1: Anthony Mars]
Yo, light that cigarette, I'm trippin'
Ash it on my bitches
Taking my dose, I never skip it
Still in my hood up pistol gripping
Still got a hundred blunts
Got that Bape up in my cup
Stay with a bitch in the cut
Who stay with my dick in her guts, yeah
Wetto the King of the Grey
Self park, I don't fuck with the valet, sheesh
Private jet, fuck a delay
Went to Paris and back in a day
Okay, no, I'm never okay
Bitch, stop asking
Came up and supported my family
Just for that thеy should give me a Grammy, uh
Running and ducking the slammеr, uh
Thinking 'bout cocking the hammer
The lights, the glitter, the glamour, uh
None of this shit even matter
None of this shit made me happy
Wound up in rehab instead of a casket
Locking me up and they had the rooms padded
Made a straitjacket my fashion
[Verse 2: Norman Atomic]
Ruby da Motherfucker Grim reaping, I'm undercover
Soul seeking, I found another bitch who's thinking that I'm her lover, no
Reason I keep on shrugging, blunt is cashed, let's keep 'em coming
Only weed keeps me from bugging and from seeking out more destruction
I'm a pro at self-doubt, but I doubt I'll ever know
That these bitches want me to fly 'em out just because I upped the glow
All these fuckboys wanna be me, but they keep it on the low
And talk shit about me and my cousin while we're thumbing through our dough
All this fame is such a curse, sometimes I wish I was a ghost
Watch me raise the fucking dead next time I'm on stage at a show
[Chorus: Anthony Mars, Norman Atomic, & Both]
Haunted, haunted, haunted, haunted
Haunted, haunted, haunted, haunted
Haunted, haunted, I can't escape my mind
It's like I'm doing time, all the time
Exhausted, lost it, just one little line
Have this talk with God all the time, yeah
Haunted, haunted, I can't escape my mind
It's like I'm doing time all the time
Exhausted, lost it, just one little line
Have this talk with God all the time, yeah

Lyrics
[Chorus: Butterfly Boucher]
It's not fair, I found love
It made me say that get back
You'll never see daylight
If I'm not strong, it just might
It's not fair, I found love
It made me say that get back
You'll never see daylight
If I'm not strong, it just might
[Verse 1: Ruby da Cherry]
They figure me a dead motherfucker
But I'm just a motherfucker that wanna be dead
Snow Leopard with the lead in his head, turnin' me into a sweater
Bitches use me as their fucking bedspread
I be the silhouette of a sunset
Smoke a cigarette while I compress my depression
Stare into the violet fluorescent lights, makes me violent
I'm tryna get the highest I can get before I overdose and die
My ribs are nothing but an empty cage, black hole in my chest
Big bang, Yung Plague on the tip of a wave
In my head, I feel like I'm a guest, so I'ma throw it all away
Because when I am dead, I will be nothing decomposin' in a grave
I'm matter, but I don't matter
I can feel my skull shatter from the dull chatter
Brain splattered on the wall
Grey stains won't dissolve, gonna have to paint it all
[Chorus: Butterfly Boucher]
It's not fair, I found love
It made me say that get back
You'll never see daylight
If I'm not strong, it just might
[Verse 2: $lick $loth]
Always boasting my emotions on how I'm so fucking broken
Think I'm joking when I'm talkin' about blowing my head open
'Til the moment you walk in and find my body motionless
Wrists slit, thoughts of $licky falling in an open pit, shit
Always burn my bridges 'cause I'd rather fall in ditches
If life's a game of inches, then my dick has been the biggest
And my goal's to fuck the world until that motherfucker's twitchin'
Lane switchin', same mission, to die and blame my addiction, bitch
[Chorus: Butterfly Boucher]
It's not fair, I found love
It made me say that get back
You'll never see daylight
If I'm not strong, it just might
Top 10 Suicideboys Songs-Antarctica
Antarctica
Track 11 on Dark Side of the Clouds
Ruby and $crim describe the height of their depression in the 2016 song "Antarctica," which serves as the closing track, "Dark Side of the Clouds." It features "I Remember" by Deadmau5, which sparked controversy after Deadmau5 himself accused the boys of copyright infringement after claiming the boys had used "entire portions" of his song.
As of September 2021, after a long dispute, the sample was officially cleared and Deadmau5 was credited to the track. The duo announced the "re-release" of the song via social media.
Lyrics
[Intro: Haley Gibby]
Letting a new day begin
Letting a new day begin
Letting a new day begin
Hold to the time that you know
[Verse 1: YUNG $CARECROW]
Locked in my room, four black walls
Tie the noose, no recall
No resolve, fuck withdrawal
Rather shoot up till I fall
Murder on call with the *59
Twenty years, and it seem like a lifetime
I been hanging every day from a lifeline
While these fuckers had a dinner every night time
Smo-, smokin' that dope off the foil, let me ball
Ho, please don't call, don't fuck with y'all
Spray paint the walls with blood and whatever
Drag you outside, let you rot in the weather
I don't think I can explain any better
I'm $carecrow the terror and live for the lesser
My birth was an error
[Verse 2: LORD OF LONELINESS]
I am the Lord of Loneliness
I'll hold my breath, just spoke with Death
He said he hopes for the best
Told him I'm ropin' my neck
Then I woke up chokin' from the hole in my chest
Somehow I manage to function and hope
Every day got a lump in my throat
That's them pills swallowed whole
Smoke a blunt and then fuck all these hoes
End up humpin' they throat
Get the fuck away from me, I hate all of you, faithfully
This world was never made for me
Thankfully, I'm trained to see past all the lies, the ranks, the scenes
I'll shank my knees, then walk the plank and freeze

Suicideboys album-Sing Me a Lullaby, My Sweet Temptation
Sing Me a Lullaby, My Sweet Temptation
Sing Me a Lullaby, My Sweet Temptation is the third studio album by American hip-hop duo Suicideboys. The album was released on July 29, 2022, through G*59 Records. The album was produced by member Budd Dwyer. The album was preceded by two singles, "The Evil That Men Do" and "Escape from Babylon". The latter peaked at #22 on the Bubbling Under Hot 100 chart in the United States.
In the U.S., the album peaked at #7 on the Billboard 200, #2 on the R&B/Hip-Hop Albums Chart and the Independent Albums Chart, and topped the Rap Albums Chart. The album peaked at #6 in New Zealand, #14 in Finland, and #26 in Australia and Canada.
Genesis is the opening track of Sing Me a Lullaby, My Sweet Temptation.
Genesis refers to the book of Genesis and focuses on the story of grief, creation, sin, and rebirth. The story tells how God's perfect creation, mankind, is punished by genocide for disobedience.
Since Genesis is about rebirth, the song can be interpreted as the boys recreating themselves by changing their personalities, voices, and tones. Around the time of the release of the "LIVE FAST, DIE WHENEVER" project, they adopted a punk, hardcore style of music with Travis Barker, and the duo has been constantly changing their style ever since.
Matte Black is the second track from the album Sing Me a Lullaby, My Sweet Temptation. The sample was used to promote the May 9, 2022 release of the Greyday series.
It's relatively long for a song of $uicideboy$'s customary length.
Scrim's verses are more a reflection of his addictive tendencies as a whole. It's also a reflection of his manic-depressive self. He shifts themes a lot in this song, like an addict molding his mind. First, he talks about sleeping with a girl, then he talks about relapsing on opioids, and finally, he goes back to the girl. Sex and drugs are addictions that people are addicted to and are often addicted to, after that he talks about his sadness and how he now uses his money to cope with his sadness by buying land and diamonds when in reality he is not happy and will never be truly happy.
Ruby's verse is largely based on the fact that the older he gets, the less he can take care of himself. He talks about what a terrible person he is and how no one should follow him or be with him because his hobbies and behavior will bring people down.
Fuching your Culture$uicideBoy$ have been against the whole mainstream music for a long time and this time they are taking things to their hand to damage them, not just dissing it but indeed, ''fucking it''.
This song is also a sequel to their 2019 single, ‘’Fuck Your Culture‘
1000 Blunts is the 4th track on the album Sing Me a Lullaby, My Sweet Temptation and is the sequel to the 2014 track "100 Blunt$".
100 Blunt$ was one of the first songs where the duo used autotune and sound effects, and that may be the case in this song as well. The use of autotune coupled with the song's title gives the song a vibe that seems to take one on a trip to get high on marijuana.
In Constant Sorrow is the 5th track on Sing Me a Lullaby, My Sweet Temptation.
The song is one of the most depressing on the album, where Ruby talks about how he achieved everything he dreamed of, but it no longer matters to him, how he feels inadequate, and how he struggles with the name $uicideBoy$.
Due to the duo's name being associated with "suicidal" behavior, some fans have been waiting for years for them to finally end their suicides, mainly during the Boy$ era of 2017-2020, as they were dealing with sobriety and personal drama in their lives, and because of this, Ruby is the one who told them to leave him alone because he has changed over time and his suicidal state is as well.
On the other hand, $crim talks about how he felt distrustful of his friends and family and how he struggled with the idea of believing in "God", which either means that he struggled with believing in the existence of "God", or it means that he thought that "God" had little to no impact on $crim's life because his prayers didn't seem to be heard.
Escape from BABYLON is the 6th track on Sing Me a Lullaby, My Sweet Temptation. "Babylon" here refers to "Babylon the great, the mother of harlots and the abominations of the earth," commonly known as the "whore of Babylon" (which is also the name of the artwork used on the cover of the song), a female figure mentioned in the book of Revelation as symbolizing evil:
And I saw another woman sitting on a scarlet beast, which was full of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns. And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet, and gilded with gold and precious stones and pearls, and she had in her hand a golden cup full of abominations and filthiness of fornication. - Revelation 17:3, 4
"The Whore of Babylon" is used by the boys to talk about getting rid of their exes and gold-worshipping "sluts," as the line goes:
Still I deal with trauma from this ex in my past
Only bitch I know psycho enough to land me in rehab
Resistance is Futile is the 8th track on Sing Me a Lullaby, My Sweet Temptation.
The song reminds fans that Boy$ only changed their style, not their roots, as Ruby says in the last few lines of the song
Still in that 7th, ain’t nothing has changed
Still wearing FTP fits to the grave
Still fuck the fame, fuck the pressure and pain
Only thing changed is I cut off my mane
Eulogy is the 9th track on the album.
Scrim and Ruby spill out all the problems in their lives, Scrim talks about his rocky relationship with his family while Ruby opens up about the effects of his years of chronic drug use and his mental state.
If we notice the title of the song and the chorus sung by the cousins, it sounds like the last words of the two of them played at a funeral after their deaths, most likely a self-inflicted death.
In 2012, Scrim released a very similar song as the closing track to his first solo mixtape, Narcotics Anonymous, called Outro [Suicidal Thoughts]. The track is heavily based on a sampled song by The Notorious B.I.G. on Eulogy, Suicidal Thoughts.
No Matter Which Direction I’m Going In, I Never Chase These Hoes is the 10th track on the album. $uicideBoy$ has spoken about their troubled romance on several occasions in songs such as CLYDE (I Hope At Least One of My Ex-Girlfriends Hears This)", "'Escape from BABYLON'" and Ruby's solo song "Broken Krystal Ball".
Ruby had an unhappy five-year relationship in the past with a girl named Krystal and broke up with her before the release of What My Liver Can Handle That My Heart Can't, while $crim had an unhappy relationship with his ex-fiancé, Tori, who manipulated $crim while he was in rehab.
The song serves as a reminder for the boys to stay emotionally detached and focus on what's most important: their careers and futures. Emotions can be a distraction when you're trying to be rich.
$uicideboy$ Were Better In 2015 is the 11th track on Sing Me a Lullaby, My Sweet Temptation, and looks back at the themes and styles that made the duo famous, and how fans still want them to keep their original style of rap, themes of depression and suicide, and overall mellow tone, although they've continued to evolve both as people and as artists.
The track itself is very similar in style to the duo's work during 2015/2016, featuring dark piano samples, Memphis vocals, and lyrics centered around depression, addiction, and suicide. Similar songs from that era include "Kill Yourself (Part III)," "Low Key," and "I Miss My Dead Friends," to name a few.
The opening section of $crim is a direct quote from his lyrics on "Kill Yourself (Part III)":
Always bragging about my emotions, sayin' how I'm fuckin' falling apart
The song is one of Boy$' most popular songs, amassing around 402 million plays on Spotify alone. In the song, the brothers talk about their struggles with drugs, depression, and suicide - issues that "$uicideBoy$" was founded around.
The song's title, "$uicideboy$ Were Better in 2015," first appeared in a merchandise trailer and on t-shirts and hoodies.
Unlucky Me'' is the sequel to the boy band's 2016 effort "Lucky Me."In "Lucky Me," Boy$ references the infamous "27 Club" - a reference to a group of musicians who died at the age of 27. These artists include Kurt Cobain, Amy Winehouse, and Jimi Hendrix, to name a few.
On the last track of "Sing Me a Lullaby," "My Sweet Temptation," $UICIDEBOY$ goes back and forth while $crim says he doesn't really trust the people around him and thinks people are "acting" to get his trust, while Ruby was speaking out about his long absence from social media and the public eye aside from concerts, and they both talked about their newfound sobriety, but that they're still suffering, and they still have a lot of love for themselves since $uicideBoy$ The same ideas and beliefs they've been talking about since the beginning, like being against "organized religion" are something they've talked about a lot in the past - like in their song "Exodus" - and throughout the album. The artwork shows photos of tornadoes that tore through parts of New Orleans and its suburbs, downing power lines and scattering debris in parts of the city severely damaged by Hurricane Katrina.
St. Bernard Parish Sheriff Jimmy Pohlman said at a news conference that one person was confirmed dead and several others were injured in the suburb. Other tornadoes from the same storm system struck parts of Texas and Oklahoma, killing one person, injuring others, and causing widespread damage.
As Boy$ talks about in the first song of the album Genesis, the use of this tornado may represent God's punishment for those who sin, as Genesis talks about how God created the world. Very good, but it was destroyed in a flood due to human disobedience, which may be a reference to the track name "THE_EVIL_THAT_MEN_DO".
